Usage: Magnesium hydroxide is an excellent flame retardant for plastic and rubber products. When magnesium hydroxide is used as an inorganic flame retardant, it has high decomposition temperature, strong smoke suppression ability, good flame retardant effect, and does not produce toxic or corrosive substances after decomposition. In terms of environmental protection, it can be used as a desulfurizer for flue gas, replacing caustic soda and lime as a neutralizer for acidic wastewater, and also as a precipitator for heavy metal wastewater. In petrochemical industry, magnesium hydroxide can serve as a catalyst to promote chemical reactions and improve production efficiency.
